How we handle your information

Who we are

Yado Energy Inc. (“Yado Energy”, “we”, “us”) provides margin and performance diagnostics for fuel distributors, terminals and fleets. We are based at San Felipe Plaza, 5847 San Felipe St, Floor 46, Suite 4675, Houston, TX 77057, USA. This policy explains what information we collect through yadoenergy.com and our quote request form, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Quote request details you choose to give us: your name, role, company, country, work email, phone, and facts about your operation (business type, revenue range, employees, sites, trucks, systems, concerns, timing).
• Emails and messages you send to us, and the replies we send.
• Basic technical data that our hosting provider records automatically when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, kept in standard server logs.

Please do not include sensitive personal information, passwords or confidential company data in the quote form. We collect operating data only after an engagement starts and an NDA is signed.

How we use it

• To reply to your request, prepare a written quote and arrange an intro call.
• To deliver and manage our services if you become a client.
• To keep records required for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
• To keep the website secure and working.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We will only send you marketing emails if you ask us to, and you can stop them at any time.

Who processes it for us

We use trusted service providers that process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:

• Microsoft (Microsoft 365, Microsoft Forms, Outlook, Power Automate) to receive form responses and handle email.
• Amazon Web Services to host this website.

We may also share information where required by law, or with professional advisers (such as accountants or lawyers) under a duty of confidentiality.

Client data and confidentiality

Data that clients share during an engagement is covered by a signed non-disclosure agreement and our engagement terms. We use it only to deliver the agreed work, restrict access to the people working on it, and return or delete it at the end of the engagement when the client asks.

Where your data is stored

Our providers store data in the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., including from the European Union or the United Kingdom, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We rely on our providers’ standard contractual protections for these transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests that do not lead to an engagement for up to 24 months, then delete them. Client records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and to meet legal and tax obligations.

Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The embedded quote form is provided by Microsoft Forms, which may set cookies needed to run the form. See Microsoft’s privacy statement for details.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email us; we reply within 30 days.

Security

We protect information with business-grade accounts, multi-factor sign-in and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
